Solar Charger Specifications
Two 2.0 Watt Solar Panels generate power in sunlight. They are waterproof, lightweight and built to withstand abuse.
Power: 4 Watts total peak output at 6 or 12 Volts (selectable depending on charging application)
Charge times: 4-5 hours in the sun will fully charge a typical phone, 1 hour will provide about 3 hours of talk time.

Tablets
We have made several useful improvements to our V11 USB Battery to help our customers charge their larger smart phones and tablets.  

1. Increased output from 650mA to 900mA – The battery now outputs higher current, allowing you to charge about 38% faster from the battery than with our old V11 and about 80% faster than a standard computer USB. Raising the current output also allows direct charging of devices like the Nook Colour, the new iPad (aka iPad 3) and other devices that have raised their minimum charging thresholds. Note that the capacity stays at 3,000mAh, large enough to completely fill all but the largest smart phones/tablet hybrids like the GALAXY Note.

2. New pin configuration for direct iPad Charging – the old V11 required our optional Apple Dock to charge an iPad 1, 2 and wouldn’t charge the new iPad. We’ve modified the USB pin configuration so that customers can simply use the white USB cable that comes with the iPad. 
3. High Efficiency Pass-through Charging – If a customer charging the battery from solar or USB while charging your phone, the battery routes nearly all the power to your device. Only about 30mA is lost. If there is more power than the device needs, the extra power goes into the battery. When there is is just enough energy coming in to power the charging of the device, the V11 battery doesn’t take any current. When there is not enough energy to power the charging of the device, the V11 battery makes up the difference. All in all, it makes for a high-efficiency charging solution!

 Apple: iPad, iPad 2, BlackBerry: Playbook LG: T-Mobile G-Slate Samsung: Galaxy Tab (will not work with ASUS eee Transformer, Motorola XOOM or Acer Iconia Tab) and other models.
DSLR Cameras: In addition, you can adjust the Voltage output of the solar panels from 6V to 12V. The 12V setting is suitable for charging larger 7.4V digital camera batteries. You will need an optional camera battery cradle that supports the specific battery in your camera.
